Getting Started with SuperSocial MCP
Set up SuperSocial MCP in under five minutes. Create your account, connect LinkedIn or WhatsApp, add the MCP server to your AI client, and start messaging.
What You Will Need
Before you begin, make sure you have these two things ready:
- An email address — any personal or work email works. This is your login.
- An MCP-compatible AI client — such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Gemini CLI.
That is it. No credit card, no software to install, and no technical background needed. The free trial gives you 24 hours of full access with one connected account so you can see exactly how it works before committing.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Head over to the SuperSocial login page. You will see a simple form asking for your email address. Type it in and click Continue.
SuperSocial uses passwordless magic-link authentication. That means there is no password to create or remember. Instead, you will get a secure login link sent directly to your inbox.
Step 2: Check Your Email for the Magic Link
Open your email inbox and look for a message from SuperSocial. It usually arrives within a few seconds. Click the magic link inside to log in instantly.
Not seeing the email? Check your spam or promotions folder. The link expires after a short time, so if it has been a while, go back and request a new one.
Once you click the link, you will land on your SuperSocial dashboard. This is your central hub for managing connected accounts, viewing usage, and configuring settings.
Step 3: Connect Your First Messaging Account
Now comes the exciting part. On your dashboard, click the "Add Account" button. You will see a list of supported platforms:
- LinkedIn — messages and connection requests
- WhatsApp — personal and business chats
- Instagram — direct messages
- Telegram — individual and group chats
- Email — Gmail and Outlook
Choose the platform you want to connect first. You will be redirected to that platform's login page where you sign in with your existing credentials. Once you authorize the connection, you are brought back to your dashboard and the account appears as connected.
The entire process takes less than a minute per account. During the free trial you can connect one account. On the Pro plan, you can add as many as you need.
Step 4: Add SuperSocial to Your AI Client
With your messaging account connected, the next step is to tell your AI client where to find the SuperSocial MCP server. The server URL you will need is:

How you add this depends on which AI client you use. Here is a quick overview for the most popular ones:
Claude (Desktop or Web)
Open Claude's settings, navigate to the MCP servers section, and add a new server with the URL above. Claude will detect the available tools automatically. See our full Claude setup guide for detailed instructions.
ChatGPT

Step 5: Start Chatting
Everything is connected. Now open your AI client and try it out. Here are a few things you can ask your AI to do right away:
- "Show me my latest LinkedIn messages" — your AI pulls in your recent conversations.
- "Summarize my unread messages across all platforms" — get a quick morning briefing.
- "Reply to Sarah's WhatsApp message and say I will be 10 minutes late" — send a message without leaving your AI client.
- "Find all messages from John across LinkedIn and email" — search across platforms in one query.
- "Draft a follow-up to my last LinkedIn conversation with the marketing team" — let AI compose context-aware replies.
Your AI reads the conversation history, understands the context, and can compose or send messages on your behalf. You stay in control — review drafts before sending, or let the AI handle routine replies directly.
What Happens After the Free Trial?
The free trial lasts 24 hours and includes one connected account with full access to every feature. No credit card is required to start.

Troubleshooting
I did not receive the magic link email
Check your spam or promotions folder. If you use a corporate email, your IT department may be filtering the message. Try with a personal email address as an alternative.
My account connection failed
Make sure you are signing into the correct account on the platform's login page. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, complete the verification as prompted. Then try connecting again from your dashboard.
My AI client cannot find the MCP server
Double-check that the server URL is exactly https://app.getsupersocial.me/mcp with no trailing spaces or extra characters. Make sure you are logged into SuperSocial in the same browser before testing the connection.
